In the 3 months since our launch, we’ve been pleased to hear Lingo is helping teams build strong brands by making sure everyone in the organization is using the same visual assets. One type of visual asset we did not support however was color.
This is of course a problem because color is an integral part of any brand or project. Because of this and our community’s feedback we’re happy to announce we’ve added color support to Lingo!
Here are a few ways you can add your brand’s color to Lingo:
1. Add a color swatch by selecting the color drop icon in Lingo’s header. Then add your HEX, RBG, or HSB value to the color picker menu.
2. Copy and paste the hex value directly into Lingo. As an example, try copying in #FED149 and pasting into your Lingo.
3. Use the eyedropper in the color picker menu to capture any color outside the app. See the GIF below for how we sampled our favorite impressionist painting to gather color inspiration for our brand.
We have also added the inspector menu — now you can quickly view kit members, access alternate file cuts, and batch-tag multiple assets.
All of these changes will really makes your life easier and will help non-designers alike get the assets they need lickety-split! Download the app today or update now for all these great new features!
